Hi, I'm Kara Trahant

I have the best life! I am a wife and mother of 2 great kids. By day, I am a speech language pathologist and lactation consultant. In my spare time, I grab my camera and photograph whatever catches my eye. I have been behind the lens for more than 30 years with my old-school film camera! Once my children were born, I picked up my first DSLR and I have never looked back. I push myself in my craft each time I meet a client. My goal is to showcase someone's personality and vibe.

I am recent graduate of James Madison University! I hold a degree in Hospitality Management with a General Business minor. I am a full time Catering Sales Manager here in Williamsburg!

Despite my career, I have always been interested in Photography. I took Photography all through high school and even took AP Photography my senior year (2018). Over the years I have become proficient in Photoshop, and my passion for photography has become more focused on the editing side.
